Souvenir Saturday - with Sei-Chan!

Rainbow Sei: Remember me? Of course you do! I haven't been gone that long. I arrived safely at the Bridge and have met up with all the other Chans who are here, as well as some wonderul old friends such as Loustiquette, Huffle Mawson, Gandalf, Whitey, Totoro, Megat, Lolo, Allred and many, many more.

As I talked with the other Rainbow Chans, it occurred to us that there are now four of us us here at the Bridge, and three back at Poupounette Central, and we have decided that we deserve our own day on the blog! In French, "souvenir" means remembrance and that is the title we have chosen for our weekly post, From now on, SEIturday becomes Souvenir Saurday!

I would like to start this week by introducing the four of us. I shall of course start with myself, ladies first and all that. I am the only girl, you know! My name is SEI. I left for the Bridge at the age of 9. I was shy but fiercely independent. I got on fine with my sister Tama. My brother Beebs was OK with me but that little blue pest often liked to scare me! Of couse, I adored Tommy. I was known for my outstanding pink pawpads, so why not have a pawpad shot to star with?

The very first Chan was called IKKYU. He was born in Japan and lived with #1 in Japan, the States and France. He left for the Bridge at the age of 15. Ikkyu was a very fierce boy who adored #1 and protected her against everyone, all the time! Many of #1's friends were scared of him!!!

He does look pretty fierce in this photo!

After Ikkyu came SEN-CHAN who started this blog with Tommy. He was a total sweetheart. I never met him but my sister Tama absolutely adored him. He and Tommy were really good friends:

Sen-Chan left for the Bridge at the age of 18 months, a victim of feline leukemia. Also carried off by feline leukemia, at the age of 15 months was YUU-CHAN. What can I tell you about Yuu-Chan? He was sweetness made cat. I loved him, as did everyone else. Being reunited with him has been the absolute bestest thing about being at the Bridge. Here is a sunpuddle pic of the  two of us back at Poupounette Central, when we were both young things.

I am at the front and my seet Yuu is at the back.

And let us not forget our friend TRAV who was an "outside" member of the Chan Clan for a little over a year. It's been nice meeting him properly here. He is a sweetie. And those eyes...

So... starting the week after next (apparently, next week some blue boy has a celebration...), each of our Souvenir Saturday posts will look back at various adventures we had during our time with #1. I do hope you like this idea and will come to visit us regularly.

  8. Coucou Sei,
