Serious SEIturday

Sei-Chan: Welcome to SEIturday, dear friends. Believe it or not, #1 has nipped down to Paris again to see some friends coming to the agricultural fair from the other side of France, so I thought I would take this opportunity to have a serous chat with you. You see, I know she has been worrying about me for the past few days. As you know, I have renal issues. I have been taking a drug called Semintra. The first year and a half, I also was very good about eating special renal food, but I took a dislike to it last November and so she has been giving regular food but with Epakitin (Ipakitine i Europe) mixed in. For a while #1 gave me my medicine directly in the mouth with a syringe (it's liquid) but I didn't like it and I can move so fast that she started not being able to catch me, so now she mixes it with my food and she is not always sure I take it as I should. The last few days, she has just had an uneasy feeling about me.

We have probably said this before but, of all the Chans, I am the most timid and also the most difficult to catch to medicate.  #1 can do anything to Queen Tama and her Beebs, Genji is really easy to catch but hard to medicate, and I am almost impossible to catch. So, she is wondering what/how she will do when I have to move onto the next stage of medication/care. In the interim, could we ask for some serious purrs and crossed paws for me? As for #1, she is worrying but she has also asked the amazing energy guy who has taken care of Genji, Tama and Vidock through their issues for help. He came through really well for the others so we are both hoping he will be able to help me. He said he would work on me for the whole of the coming week. The main advantage as far as I am concerned is that he doesn't need to catch me!

Now let me see if I can find a couple more photos for you:

Wishing you all a good SEIturday!

  3. Our Georgia is much like you Sei...very timid, prone to hiding and not good with taking meds. Mum tries to put some meds in her food and only gives her a tiny amount of food to see if she will eat it all.
If she does, mum gives her a bit more med free food.
It does not always work but it may work for the evening meal. Her meds are 1/2 pill for thyroid. The pills are easy to crush. JJ tales the same meds, 3/4 pill with no problem :/
    We understand #1's concern.
We also send you positive vibes, purrs and elp from the energy guy <3
