Tommy Thursday - UPDATED

Tommy: Woofs, everyone. Today is the day #1 and I take our precious Tama to get all those tests done. They will happen under general anesthetic and we may not be able to return and update until this evening, so please bear with us. But if you could send good thoughts and cross paws, we would much appreciate it.

Yesterday, I accompanied #1 to lunch with a couple of friends at a pretty fancy restaurant. As is the case almost everywhere in France, dogs are allowed, and I was complimented by the people there about my gentlemanly behaviour, and invited to come back anytime!

Here I am being a good boy:

And looking a little coy in this one:

And in case you were wondering, this is what #'s main course looked like:

Here I am, looking happy in my (wet) field:

And another (different ball!):

We'll update when we get back.

UPDATE: We are back from a full day of tests with Tama. She came through everything well. She appears to have some kind of fairly severe broncho-pneumonia although we won't know the causes, and therefore the best treatment, until we get some test results back. More details and some photos in tomorrow's blog post. Thanks so much for all the good thoughts!

  9. We are hoping the vet also take x-rays of Tama's lungs to rule out anything on the lungs themselves. We will be sending lover her way today.

Tommy, Wilhelmina shyly claims you look very handsome and dapper photographed outside with your balls. :)

  10. C'est grâce aux chiens comme toi, qui savent se tenir, que les chiens sont acceptés dans les restaurants.
J'espère que tout c'est bien passé pour Tama.
    Bonne soirée

  14. We are so jealous that you get to go to the restaurants, Tommy, but we aren't so sure we would be as well-behaved as you are.

Poor Tama. But at least you have something to work with. All paws crossed for her to do well with some new meds.
