SEIturday STAR!

Sei-Chan: #1 keeps saying that I am a star, following those fantabulous blood test results on Thursday. To show her how well I am feeling, I made it really hard for her to catch me to give me my meds yesterday. Tee Heeeeeeee!

OK, OK... I promise to be nicer about it today...

In the meantime, if you will excuse me, I  need to take some time to spruce myself up.

Voyageur Vendredi OR Trav on Friday!

Trav: Mee-Yow, everyone! Trav here! # thought it might be nice for me to do a post of my own this week as she got a few nice photos of me. She says I look a little bit of a ragamuffin in some of them, but what can I say? I AM a ragamuffin! I am a free spirited feral boy who is lucky enough to get two square meals a day and a cozy place to sleep.

Happy Vendredi/Friday, Pals! Oh, and by the way, "Voyageur" is French for "Traveler"!

Thrice on Thursday!

Sei-Chan (or should I say "Thei-Chan"?): Can you believe it, Dear Friends, I was jailed again last night with no food or company, and I am being packed off to Dr. C's again this morning? It is NOT FAIR!!! I already went last month! Twice! So this makes it three times! #1 tells me that I need to go again so that Dr. C can steal my blood again and we can see how well my kidney medication and diet are working. Sulk...... I don't want to know whatever pathetic excuse they can come up with for this.

Our appointment is for 9am, so we will have to get going a little after 8am. We will update after we return. I would appreciate some purrs and crossed paws for good results.

UPDATE: SEilebrate! SEIlebrate! SEIlebraaaaaaaaaaate! I had an excellent appointment with Dr. C. My blood tests results were wonderful! After just over a month on the Semintra renal medication and the Virbac renal food, my Creatinine levels are back within the normal range (from being 30% above) and my BUN (urea) levels are back to the high end of the normal range (from being 70% above). #1 said she was very, very proud of me, as did Dr.C!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: It is COLD here! #1 was wearing full winter gear when she went out yesterday and she was still cold! This is crazy! All we ask for is some warmth and sunpuddles!

#1 is doing her best with camera #2 and camera #3 but she says it's just not the same, and she can't wait for the return of camera #1.

I have to admit that there was a bit of a sunpuddle the other day and she managed to get a few shots:

On days when the weather has been OK, #1 has been opening the door onto our enclosed porch for an hour or two and I like to sit on the mat as guardian of the house:

You may remember that I also like to keep #1 company when she has her shower and gets dressed in the morning. I feel she can always use my advice on how to start her day the best possible way!

Manly Monday

Genji: Did you miss us? It's been two whole weeks since out last Manly Monday post! We are all well and very manly, of course! It has been quite cold here, so I have been snuggling even more than usual with #1, now that she is back. And also napping in cozy places:

By the way do you think that would count as a dangle?

And here I am in the study, assisting #1 with her work:

Da Beebs: Here I am in a pensive mood:

And as king of all I survey!

Tommy: Life is good! Even when it is a little wet...

Believe it or not, it wasn't raining. The grass was just that wet!

Vidock: I have a somewhat controversial photo for you:

Do you see that clip hanging from my lip? Mr. JP put it there to stop me from biting him when he puts on my bridle (I confess I took a chunk out of his arm the time before...). Now, you know #1, right? You know how likely she is to be cruel  and/or abusive with any of us, right? Well, we put the photo on Facebook and several people thought just that. One friend emailed #1 telling her that someone else had told him to go and look a the "torture" photo. That's a good neigh! I mean, just look at my face! Do I look miserable and in pain? Truth be told, I had a pretty good time trying to grab it...

And here is a nice pic of me "flying" during my lesson:

Da Trav: Do you need something, #1? I am enjoying my nap and I don't really want to wake up just yet...

Have a great week, everyone!

Some Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: With #1 only being back a few days and our camera "situation", we are a little short on good snuggle pics this week. Please bear with us.

Unsurprisingly, Genji has been ALL over #1 since her return and rubbing and kneading and hugging so much she could barely get a decent photo!

Sei-Chan has been pretty eager to snuggle with #1 too:

She has also been snuggling with Tommy (Our #2 camera is a little focusing-challenged...):

Here, Beebs is getting ready to give Tommy a good licking...

We thought we weren't going to have any photos of me but I came through at the least minute. When #1 heard my extra-loud purr, she knew I was snuggling with Tommy!

And that, Dear Friends, is all we have for you this Sunday. Check in with us again next Sunday for a more complete set of snuggles!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: This SEIturday is definitely better than last! Even though we enjoyed Ms. A and Tommy's "girls", there is nothing quite like having one's #1 home and available for cuddles day and night, is there?

I have just a few pics to share with you, taken with our #2 camera, as #1 has only been back a few days. #1 camera has been sent off for repairs and should be home, as good as new, soon.

On the news front, did you all see that our old friends Goldie and Banshee over at Sumac Stories are back blogging after a break of several years? Sadly, they lost Shade a couple of years ago, but it's great to see them. We love it when old friends re-appear!

Have a wonderful SEIturday, everyone!

Fun Friday With Tommy!

Tommy: So, the last time we talked, I mentioned that I was feeling a little wistful because I would miss my Mama, sister and niece, right? It's true. I do miss them, and I also miss Ms. A, but I am SO happy that #1 is home and we are back to our regular routine!

This time of year, the fields are even more exciting than usual, with so many interesting smells, and lots of wild flowers blooming. #1 loves to take lots of photos on our walk, but guess what? Her camera broke yesterday! Every time she would try and switch it on , this alarm would start wailing! She had to take the battery out to make it stop! Fortunately, it is still under guarantee so it has now gone back to Olympus for repairs, its second such journey since she bought it. In the meantime, she has her fallback Fuji camera, so she can still take photos.

There's supposed to be rain on and off over the next few days, but I am crossing my paws it won't affect our walks.

Thursday 21 April 2016

Thankful Thursday!

Da Beebs: #1 is back! And she actually got home a whole hour earlier than planned because she got up extra early and was able to catch two rains earlier than what she had booked! We don't have any pics of a laden table to show you this time. Our dietary requirements having changed a lot these past few months, she did not need to stock up for us as much, so she socked up for herself instead! She did bring some stuff for us, quite a lot for Tommy, food for Trav, and apples and carrots for the Vs.

We are just so happy she is home, and she says she is too!

A huge thanks to Ms. A for all the loving care she lavished on us, and also to Minnie, Sophie and Emily who kept us all entertained.

Wistful Waiting Wednesday

Tommy: #1 is on her way back and, if all goes according to plan, should be home by mid-afternoon. We are all SO looking forward to her return, but I have to confess that I am also feeling a little wistful. I have had the most wonderful time with my Mama Minnie, sister Sophie and niece Emily and I am going to miss them all. I wish they lived closer so I could see them more often. But #1 has promised that we will go up to visit them soon.

In the meantime, here is one more picture of #1 snuggling with Daisy Pup who seemed to take a real shine to her hair!

Even when I first came to Poupounette Central, I was too big to fit there!

Tuesday 19 April 2016

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: #i is coming back tomorrow and we are all looking forward to that although we can hardly complain. Ms. A as been looking after us wonderfully well, and Tommy has been over the moon to have his mama, sister and niece here.

I am keeping an eye out through the cat run window:

Continuing to enjoy MY pet mousie:

And getting lots of beauty sleep, with toy at paw:

Horse Show Monday

#1 here. I have been in Hampshire the past few days and yesterday, I attended the Southern Counties Heavy Horse show. There were a lot of horses, Percherons but also other breeds such as Shires and Suffolks and I thought it would be fun to share some photos with you.
