Wonderful Wednesday!

Da Genj:

OYEZ, OYEZ, OYEZ!

We have wonderful news today! When #1 went to see the orthopedic specialist yesterday, he looked at her x-rays and examined her thoroughly, and then declared that it was OK to take off the "straitjacket" she had been wearing for the past week! And then he said she could start driving again, short distances at first, but that it would probably be OK for her to go to England as planned at teh end of next week! We hadn't yet mentioned that trip but we're all cool about it because Ms. A is coming to look after us, and bringing Sophie and Emily with her!

#1 says the single best thing was to be able to take a long, hot shower! People are definitely a little odd...

We also want to thank all of you, both here on the blog and on FB, for all the support over this past week!

How nice that #1 is so much better :)
Now she can properly hug all of you.
We don't understand the human desire to stand in running water either :/

  5. #1 we bet you got straight out the straitjacket and into the shower before the specialist had time to change his mind.

  12. Glad to hear that #1 is on the mend. We've been without a computer for over a week and so missed a lot of what has been going on. I'm sure the straight jacket wasn't any fun. Take it slow like the doctor said.

  18. Ne cries pas aussi fort mon cousin. On t'a entendu jusqu'ici ...
C'est vrai qu'ils sont bizarres les humains avec leurs douches qui mouillent, mais il parait que ça fait un bien fou. Il faut juste les croire sur paroles !
Mais c'est super que ta #1 soit délivrée de son truc.
