Tama-Chan-ish Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends! I hope you are all well. We are basking in the joy of having #1 back with us, since there is no sun to bask in at the moment. In fact, the winds are howling outside...

Anyway, #1 has basically been tearing her hair out, trying to get the house back to normal. She swears that not a single thing is where she left it. Some people really have a strange concept about what it is OK to do in/to other people's houses. So, we have been lending her moral support and I, for one, have simply been looking lovely:

But, as you well know, this takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work:

Are you wondering about the "ish" in the title? Well, it seems that today is "Boys' Day" in Japan, whence #1 has just returned, and we do have a number of boys in this family, so I suppose we have to celebrate them today. The traditional way to celebrate in Japan is to fly big carp streamers, and this is what #1 brought back this year:

Ah well, I suppose I do have a boy of my own, that unruly Bibi... He is quite unbearable most of the time but he does have his handsome moments:

HAPPY BOYS' DAY to my Beebs, Genji, MY Tommy and Vidock!

  1. Tama, I do have to say, I adore the lovely boys at your house - and Vidock too!

  2. Happy Boys Day to all the boys in your family :)
HUmans always fuss, but we bet #1 is
happy to be home with all of you!
    Purrs Georgia and Julie,
    Treasure and JJ

  3. Happy Boys Day from our boys to your boys. That is a nice carp banner. Our own carp banners seem to have disappeared from our corridor. We know you will take care of #1 very well.

  4. Happy BOYS DAY! You are all boys mom and I adore!!! And I don;t envy #1 with what she has to do. What a chore!!

  5. Hi there! Yes, I know the feeling. Here is the same: when Indy comes back after a journey, she has to complain about the mess, and a lot of things. Hopefully, in this case, cats are never guilty ;) Purrs to you all!

  6. Happy Boys Day! You boys are very handsome. :)

  7. Happy Tama Day and Happy Boys Day too - hope #1 finds time to relax and enjoy the celebration.

    Woos - Ciara and Lightning

  8. We hope #1 succeeded in putting the house in order again ! Happy Boys Day ! Purrs

  9. Happy Boys Day to all of #1 's handsome fellows.
Goodness it certainly seams as if quite a few things have been moved. That bad?

  10. Il y a des humains vraiment sans gêne quand même. On ne doit pas changer la maison des autres !
Nous on souhaite un super Boys Days aux garçons de la maison. Un jour pour eux et tous les autres pour nous les filles. Équitable non ?

  11. we like that banner.....

it is amazing that people given access to other people's houses feel the need to touch and move their stuff

  12. Glad to hear you have #1 back with you all and Happy Boys Day to the boys in your family!

  13. Happy Boys'Day to a lovely group of lovely boys!

About the house...some times people think they are helping when they should leave well enough alone! Take your rearranging of the rearranging (;p) a bit at time . . . slow and steady wins the race... XO

the critters in the cottage xo
