Wednesday Whinnies

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! I do hope you are not going to be disappointed as we have given this a bit of a built-up and you may feel the actual fact of it isn't all that exciting…. Anyneigh, here it is: For the past few days, we have had a group of Aussie pals here. They are from a place called Kamilaroi Percherons that specialises in vaulting, trick  riding and dressage. They had last seen me three years ago when I was still a young colt and they were really keen to see me again, and, as you can imagine, were totally wowed by my studly grown-up self. Three girls in a row rode me, including young Ms.R who is only 15 years old!

She may be young but she is quite a rider!

And then, they decided to try some new stuff on me, and look what followed when Ms. A, who trains police horses for the Queensland Police force, got her hands (or rather feet…) on me!

Uncle E was supervising so I wasn't freaked out… Then he started making me go around:

Can you believe this?

Apparently, it's called Roman Riding!

Then young Ms. R got on my back again, and look!

#1 said that, at this rate, I could join the circus soon! Seriously, though, she also said she was so proud of me because I was such a gentlehorse the whole way through! Like everything else I have done so far, I was quick to learn and really good at it! I hope those young girls come back soon! In the meantime, here is one last photo, showing how happy I was with all this fun I had!

Violette: OK. OK. So he got to do the glamorous stuff. But I had my moment in the sun as well! Ms. K, who is a famous horse trainer in Australia, lunged me:

And then Ms. A rode me!

There were some rather rude comments about how I could probably stand to lose a few pounds, but I showed them what a smooth mover I was!

And today, the Big V and I are both getting pedis. The fun never stops!

  11. Wow, that is exciting! You are both such gentle horses (especially for your size and youth) and quick to learn. I'd suggest that you could join Cavalia except I know that The Pouponette Gang sticks together because you are all family. Thanks for sharing the photos.
