Tommy's Down Time on Tuesday

Tommy: It's me again! I think I may have overdone it a bit with the playing yesterday and I have a sore paw today. So, #1 has put me on Rimadyl and bed rest. It's not too bad as it's rather grey today. But I would appreciate a few woofs and purrs of encouragement. In the meantime, I am snuggling with my orange ball and dreaming of tearing through the fields again soon...

Manly Monday Moos?

Tom: Happy New Week, Everyone! Tommy here, at your service to report on the overwhelming manliness at Poupounette Central.

I think I shall start with our newest neighbour. He just moved into the field where Violette used to live, with his Mummy. We think he's not far from being a newborn but he is showing signs of growing into a very manly moo, don't you think?

As for me, I have been having lots of fun with Harley:

And enjoying the flowers!

Vidock: Studly Neighs, One and All! I have been very busy showing off how handsome I am!

Don't you agree?

Gen-Chan: I am my #1's beautiful Blue Boy!

I love to explore under one or other of my sisters' watchful eyes:

And I of course help #1 with her work!

Bibi-Chan: SuperBeebs at your service!

Enjoying window whiffies with Sei-Chan:

And a little greenery in the run:

Snuggle Sentimental Journey on Sunday!

Tama-Chan: The other day, #1 was having a snuggle with my Beebs:

And it reminded her of other snuggles with him when he was a tiny little kit:

And it made her think it would be fun to do a then and now snuggles post!

So, here I am, Tama,  with Tommy when I was still a kitten:

And a more recent one of the two of us!

And look at the first photo of #1 and The Big V together:

And more recently...

With Sei-Chan as a baby:

And later on...

Genji, of course, was a little guy not too long ago...He took to #1 immediately:

And he hasn't really let go of her since...

And here is #1 with Tommy when he was just four months old!

And the two of them more recently:

You may be wondering about Violette... Are you? Well, #1 doesn't have any pics with her until she actually bought her last March, so this is the first:

And look at the gorgeous girl she has turned into!

That's it for our "Snuggle Sentimental Journey Sunday"! We hope you enjoyed it!

Sensible SEIturday

Sei-Chan: May I first start with warm thanks to all of you for your kind words about my vet visit, blood test and resulting diet change. I so appreciate your kindness and support! #1 is looking after me really well and making sure I get to eat my meals in peace. In fact, she says it's harder feeding the others in the new way, in particular Bib-Chan who has always been very fussy.

I have to say, though, that The Beebs has been unexpectedly sweet in his moral support!

I have decided that he is a pretty good little brother after all...

So, here I am contemplating my lifestyle change whilst enjoying a nice sunpuddle:

As you can see from the photos, we've had some lovely weather this past week and then, yesterday, it turned grey and really cold again! We all thought about crossing our paws that that won't last, but then we decided to cross our tails instead!

Wishing you a lovely SEIturday!

Vidock Vendredi & Flying Ears Friday on Film!

Vidock: Studly Neighs, Everyone! Did you miss me? I certainly missed all of you but I suppose being a gentleman includes give my sis Violette blog time, right?

Anyway, I have moved to my new field which is really nice. It's big so I can move around it at top speed:

And there are beautiful views over verdant pastures and lots of lovely girls!

SO MANY GIRLS!

Gotta keep cool and concentrate on my apples and carrots!

As a special favour, I am giving some extra airtime to my bro Floppy-Ears Tommy:

Tom: I just wanted to share with you a short video that #1 took of me yesterday afternoon as I galloped around the big field in the sunshine. You can see my ears flying and hear the birds singing! If you cannot see the video below, you can watch it on YouTube here.

Tommy's Thorny Thursday!

Tom: Woofs Everyone, Tommy here! You all know that #1 taught me a long time ago that I should never harm any other living being, and I am always very good about that when I am out and about. Lately, when we go out late at night, i have added a new twist to this: I let #1 know when our friend Mr. Hedgehog is out in the garden! That way, she can put a little food out for  him.

It's hard to take photos at night, but here he is:

We have decided to call him "Thor"! So, as full "outside members" of the Poupounette Gang, that makes Rufus and Thor. Now we are waiting to see if our barn owl family is active again this summer.

In other news, the first day of Sei-Chan's diet went quite well. We think she is quite enjoying the individual attention! The other kitties are a little puzzled, however, at the disappearance of their usual buffet.

I have been having fun running around in the fields where the grass is growing fast and the dandelions are blooming!

Even though it's now been dry for several days, I managed to find the one remaining mud puddle to lie in a couple of days ago. #1 was not amused, and I got the hose...

So now I'm back to looking my usual sparkling clean self!

Finally, today being gardening day, I should tell you that our big cherry tree has finally begun to bloom:

And our bluebells are in bloom!

Of course, the bluebells are wild so there was no gardening involved!

Winsome Whinnies on Wednesday!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Dear Friends! Today's post is apparently ALL mine, but I shall start it off with a photo of my little kitty sis, Sei-Chan:

This was her taking it easy after she got home from Dr. C's yesterday. #1 spoke with Dr. C in the afternoon and her bloodwork was all fine, so there is nothing to worry about there. They will start implementing the new feeding regimen today. I wish them good luck! And by the way, I am due for my shots too but, in my case, the vet actually comes to me. And guess what? My vet is Dr. C's husband, Dr. R! He specialises in horses and other large animals.

Anyway, onto other, more interesting stuff! #1 and I had the most amazing photo shoots over the past week. Just look:

In other news, #1 has been told that I should be ready for her to ride within two weeks, so my schooling is picking up pace. The other day, I started working in the ring with Mr. L:

But then, he asked #1 to come into the ring and gave her the lunging rein!

#1 had never done that before, so it was a case of both of us going to school together!

I was pretty good about listening to her:

And I got a big cuddle at the end!
