Healing Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Hello Dear Friends. Well, we wanted #1 to be home and she is most definitely home at the moment, although not in the way we would have liked.Thank you, everyone, for the very nice supportive comments and purrs. She says it feels a tiny bit better this morning, maybe a little less swollen.

In the meantime, we have put a round-the-clock nursing roster in place.

Nurse Sei-Chan:

Nurse Genji:

Nurse Beebs:

Nurse Tommy, ready to give a comforting hug:

And, in order to make #1 feel all warm and fuzzy, here I am with Sei-Chan and Tommy, enjoying a group smuggle:

And here are Tommy and Genji enjoying a pretty good snuggle:

Last but not least, here is a pic of #1 snuggling with the Big V, before the accident:

As for our sweet Violette, here is a picture of her with one of the gypsy boys from "Team Violette"who came to ride her last Wednesday

We wish you all a Snuggly (and safe!) Sunday!

  12. Rest, rest, rest, is best, best, best! Mommy empathizes--when she started PT for her busted kneecap her quads were on FIRE for days. Does #1 have a TENS unit? They are extremely helpful; they interrupt the pain signal going to the brain so you can be more mobile and keep the limb limber. Mommy wore hers quite a bit and it worked like a charm--her therapist showed her where the electrodes were the most effective.

  18. What a wonderful nursing staff! You will certainly help #1 to keep her spirits up. Resting the leg is the best thing. We know boredom will set in and the moment she feels she is able, she'll try to be up and around. But you must help her fight the urge.
Poor Violette. She probably is wondering what happened! We are praying for #1's speedy and uncomplicated recovery
