Wednesday Whinnies

Vidock: Studly Neighs, Everyone! After trying it out last week, Violette and I decided we rather liked this mid-week slot, so we're keeping it for now!

I thought we might start with this rather fun photo in which you can actually see both of us! It also gives you an idea of where our fields are located in relation to each other, and shows you that we can have a good old neigh over the fence!

The weather is improving but we're still getting some serious April showers which means that the mud situation remains... a situation! #1 has been ordering heavy-duty shampoos over the Internet but she's beginning to wonder what it will take to remove the caked mud...

I keep telling her not to worry and that it will all be just fine!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Dear Friends! Guess what? I too am getting a bucket of yummy stuff these days! And that's in addition to my carrots!

My mane has been growing in really nicely and I am getting a biotin supplement for a month to make sure it continues to stay healthy!

The shampoo that #1 has ordered for me is called "Diamond White"! Hooves crossed it will work!

I have one other fun thing to tell you about today. Guess what is growing around my field? Violets!!!

Isn't that just the best? Violets for Violette!

Oh, and by the way, several of you asked about Tommy's pawdicure and who did the clean-up job afterwards. Well, Tommy "got the hose" at the end of his visit here! The water is pretty cold so he hops about from one paw to the other when it's happening... But it works!

  1. Hello Vidock and Violette! So good to see you having a neigh over the fence ;)
As for cleaning all the mud,we think sunshine and a good brush will be nice .Then the shampoo might work and have you both looking top notch!
It's good that Tommy is clean, but we bet he was happy to get inside to dry out!

I am anxious to know how the shampoo works.

Violette, I no longer remember why you are in another place. Is it there is not enough room at #1's? Are you still hers?

  11. We love the idea of Wednesday Whinnies - we just wish we could hear those whinnies:)

We know all about that mud. We have had a lot of rain here last night and today so our yard is pretty wet. Lots of magnet mud for Mr. L.

    Beautiful violets for Beautiful Violette.

It is so nice that you two are so close. Maybe one day you can run in the field together.

  17. There's no end to all that mud, is there? I don't envy #1 having to clean it all out of your hair and coat. But think how lovely you will look! Violets & pansies are our mom's favorite flowers, so what a great way to end a post.
