Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Before anything else, we would like to send our condolences to Jackie and Flynn on the loss of sweet Eric last night. Jackie, you did everything and more for your boy. Run Free, Eric. You fought the good fight.

We are not early risers here at Poupounette Central but #1 got up early this morning as she had an appointment with Dr. C at 9:30am for my Beebs to get his boosters. Paws crossed that it all goes smoothly and they're back soonest.

She got a rather fetching shot of me yesterday:

Well, it's a little different from all those she's been posting lately!

And this one's not too bad either:

I was guarding one of Tommy's toys, or should I say the remnants of one of Tommy's toys?

Needless to say, I have also been spending a lot of time at my post on #1's desk chair:

And here is a toes and tail close-up!

Oh, and by the way, we wanted to alert you to take a look at Savannah's blog today, here. A member of the Poupounette Gang will be featured in it!

  5. Eric's passing has deeply saddened us all. He was a wonderful boy. All of his friends thank your #1 for helping him to get the medication he needed.

Gorgeous photo of you, dear Tama! You are a breathtaking beauty.
We loved hearing Violettes story in her interview. We cannot wait until she and #1 can share their adventures in the countryside with us.
    Fingers crossed for Bibi.

  12. Oh you guys are looking sooooooo beautiful!! I don't think a bad picture can be taken of you. Unlike us, you guys know how to work the camera...we, on the other hand, we are REALLY GOOD at either moving around when Mom tries to photograph us, or just leaving the scene altogether!! haha!! We see that you, too have been having rotten, ROTTEN weather...I think the only one of us 5 that actually likes it is Ellwood because he loves to jump after snowballs!! (But I'll tell you a little secret, too many snowballs down the hatch and SnowballBoy can't hold his water and pees in the house...NOT something the beans like!) Would you believe that last night we got about 12cm and it's snowing AGAIN!! Isn't tomorrow the first day of Spring?? Or did they change that this year!! Poor Viddock..how can he stand (no pun intended) walking around in the mud? I have only been briefly outside, but I saw enough to know that it is not for me (well, that thought may change if I get out when the weather is nice)...I honestly don't know what some individuals see in "outside". I'm happy chasing foil balls around the house, picking on my sister Chouchou and bossing the two dawgs. Yep. I boss em. Its my JOB!! Oh, BTW, we are so glad that the Beebs had his Hot Mancat spotlight on him - you are one seriously hot mancat, Beebs and this young whippersnapper bows to you. Actually, I think Chouchou might have a bit of a crush on you. But shhhh, you didn't hear that from me. As for Eric crossing the Bridge, we have to say that so many of our CB friends have gone over that darn bridge these last couple of weeks that I think our Mom has cried a river. We are so sad for them all...Eric, Sauce, Face, Princess, Mistrie Rose, Grrreta, AU (!!)...and others...we were already trying to hang tough through this awful weather, but when our friends are leaving us during this gray weather, it is even harder...PLEASE, stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy!! We love you guys (even if we hardly ever get on the computer to tell you so) and we don't want to lose any of you. You hear? YOU HEAR??? OK, I'm finished preaching!! Here's sending you guys lots of purrs, headbutts, tailwags and earlicks (those are Ellwood's specialty) Oh, and Tiny sends you special Abby greetings..whatever THOSE are!! xxxTiny, Ellwood, Ginger, Elioth and Chouchou

  13. We hope Bibi's vet visit went well today!

Violette, we read your interview. You are such a beautiful creature!
We still don't understand why your breeders didn't take care of you. Afterall, they chose to bring you (and others supposedly) into the world. Why then, would they leave you alone in a field without food?!!

  15. This has been such a sad time for so many of our kitty friends. Too many losses, too much sickness. We are so sorry for all who have lost a beloved furry or who are sick.

We read the post with Savannah - very well done, Violette - it was very touching.

We enjoyed reading the interview over at Savannah's blog today. It was a ray of sunshine in our otherwise cloudy day.

  23. Thank you for your kind words. We had hoped Eric was turning the corner but it was not to be. On his last day he had a lovely afternoon but a few hours later took a sudden and drastic downturn.
