Manly Monday

Bibi-Chan: So far, we are not satisfied with the weather in this new year. It is grey and drizzly every single day. There have been virtually no sunpuddles, and it is ridiculously warm for the season, so all the humans around us have been getting sick. So, we would like to lodge a protest, or maybe think seriously about taking a vacation somewhere sunny.

In the interim, this picture of me is more than a week old, the last time we had sunpuddles...

And here is an equally old one of Genji:

A rather pensive one of Tommy, also taken that same day:

And here's our big bro, Vidock, looking handsome despite all the mud...

If any of you have sunshine, could you spare a few rays please?

  1. we are in the same position regarding sunshine BUT we DID have two days of it after several weeks of rain and clouds. If there is any sun today, I will ship a whole box of it over to you all. xoxox

  4. 'They' say we are to have some today...it was trying to emerge then it ran off fur points unknown!

When we have some, BroFur hits the sunpuddles that form on the porch...especially the wooden stoop at the door...

  5. We have been getting strange weather here, too. Sunshine in the morning then lots of rain midday. We do hope that we all enjoy more sunshine so we can play zoomies more.

We love all your photos --- Bibi-Chan, Genji, Tommy and Vidock.

Happy New Year to all of you!

  10. Sorry I can't help you here. We have been sun free for quite a few days and it isn't expected to show up any time soon.

  11. I wish I could send you some of our sun puddles! We've had more gray days than sunny so far in 2013, but today the sun is just brilliant and there is lots to spare!

  12. We just had a long talk with Mr. Sun and told him to make a trip over there to your house, especially for the horses. Not much fun for them standing around in the mud but it does look like they could wander over there to that grassy part. Hope your days get sunnier.

  19. Maxwell: Mowzers, Vidock - we'll trade you! (Still in drought - even though with our winter weather that'd mean more snow...*sigh*)

FaRADaY: yeah, it's easy to forget we haven't had rain when the cold keeps the snow from 19284651 weeks ago on the ground!

Allie: *eyeroll* The Brat is exaggerating again. We've only had snow on the ground for about 3 weeks. But STILL. I'm ready for it to be GONE!
