Manly Monday Moves

Bibi-Chan: Do your little brothers always imitate everything you do? They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but sometimes it can get a little annoying...

So there I was exploring the Balinese fish mobile that hangs above one of the kitchen cupboards:

I am long-legged and sleek and move like a dancer, so even though I was perched precariously, I left everything as I found it. One minute later, a certain Silver Streak decided he wanted to have a go too:

So, how many of those books and magazines do you think were still in place by the time he was done?

It was very foggy this morning and looks like being grey again today. The weather is supposed to improve at some stage but we're not sure when... Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of us in the run from when it was fine last week:

You gotta give it to him. That Genji really does blend in with the natural surroundings!

Tom: Hi everyone! I have been having lots of fun, despite the rain! I made a new friend last week. Her name is Joey!

And, as you know, I don't mind the wet one bit! Here I am, waiting for #1 to throw my Ultra-Ball:

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Vidock: Neigh Everyone! I hope life is treating you well. The grass has been a little wet of late but otherwise, it's all good down here in the meadow!

You see this? We just moved out of that field a few days ago but until then, we had to cross the big water on a regular basis! Scary stuff, you know, but I am a brave boy!

Have a great week everyone!

  1. Gandalf and Grayson have been enjoying the great outdoors for a week now, and loving every moment. They are much braver than I am, Vidock!

    Have a lovely week, everyChan!

  2. It's a good thing you have long legs Vidock otherwise your tummy could have got wet! Tommy you manage to look wetter than usual with the raindrops falling off your ear furs. We don't think there would be many if any books on the pile after the "Silver Streak" had investigated!

  3. There was a fish mobile almost exactly the same as your one at an appointment mum went to the other week! :)

My little brother copies me all the time. Except he seems to want to be a more annoying version of me.

  5. Bibi-chan, do you not see the advantages..... ? You climb, you explore and if you do perchance to put a paw wrong, young Genji is right behind you so that you can make sure he gets the blame.

  6. MOL at Genji! I guess you still have some lessons in being graceful to be learned!

P.S. Tommy and Vidock? You are nuts being out there where it is wet!

  10. We had to laugh at the copy cat moves -- GK is the copy cat round here! And a bit clumsy, too!
Is Vidock shod? We have a problem with our black clay mud pulling off shoes -- it has happended to WR several times : (

  12. Way to go Genji! I totally approve. A cat should climb and make effuryone do as muc work as possible.

  13. Vidock, we bet that water is no trouble for you at all, big guy. We had 5 inches of rain fall last night in two hours AND a funnel cloud right in our neighborhood. It was a scary night for all.

Tommy, we think you must be a very fast runner based at that action shot.

And Bibi, Phantom says he doesn't think the younger pups have learned much from him, but TD seems to be a good teacher, but not always the best of lessons.

  14. We can just imagine what those magazines looked like. We specialize in upsetting things here. Vidock, we bet with all that rain the grass is sweet, juicy and tender. Not at all like mid-summer grass.

  15. You are brave Vidock (and handsome!)! It's good practice to cross the big water. :) Chrome needs some more practice but he doesn't have a pretty creek in his pasture.
