Thankful Testosterone Thursday!

Les Boys: Thank you one and all for your kind comments yesterday. #1 really appreciated them! There will be light at the end of this particular tunnel!

Here, as a thank you, is a photo of the three "home boys" at rest yesterday evening:

And one of Vidock showing you that the best way to get rid of an itch on your cheek is to rub your head on your brother's butt!

We are convinced that there is a deep philosophical meaning somewhere in there...

Worldly-Wise Wednesday...

Tama-Chan: It's me, Tama, again. I wanted to show you my crossed paws:

We are all crossing our paws for our #1 who is going through a tough time with some very nasty people in her horsey organization. She keeps mumbling that she should have been more worldly-wise and realized that many people are driven by jealousy and meanness, rather than the desire to cooperate and do good. We are sad for her, and are all crossing our paws that things will get better. Things should become clearer over the coming weeks.

In order to calm us and her down, we decided to post some nature pics she has taken over the past few days:

Sei-Chan and Genji are crossing their paws too!

Tama's Tuesday Thoughts

Tama-Chan: Yes, today is my day of the week but I am feeling rather lacking in energy...

Maybe it's all the energy I had to spend on fighting off that Bibi-Boy of mine who wanted my sky hammock:

I have to be very stern in supervising him:

And then there is indoor supervision as I have to make sure that #1 gets up at a decent time. She and my Beebs are terrible sleepyheads!

I wish I had more time to just bask in the sun...

...but I do have to keep this house in order.

Manly Monday

Tom: Hi everyone, Tommy here, mercifully recovered from my rather unpleasant experience on Saturday. I was stung by a bee! We were out on Friday evening and I ran into a big patch of clover to get my ball, and then #1 heard me yelp and run off. She didn't figure out what it was immediately but kept an eagle eye on me. I was breathing a little heavily and drooling a little. Thankfully, I did not have a bad allergic reaction. She didn't give me my meal on Sunday morning, thinking it might be painful to eat, but I told her I was hungry and I got a big dish of mostly wet food! And then at lunch we all got roast chicken! I am 100% A-OK now!

And I am very lucky to have brothers who watch over me when I'm not feeling great!

Genji: He had me worried there for a while!

Now I can get back to playing!

Bibi-Chan: In anser to Sparkle's question, yes, I was making biscuits on Tommy. We all do! He is very soft!

In other news, here is a photo of me as the mighty hunter of the jungle:

And this one is rather fine too, don't you think?

Vidock: Glad you liked the mega-smooch I gave #1! Now you all know what a lover I am! I am a pretty lucky boy. Just look where I live this time of year:

It makes for a pretty happy Vidock-Chan!

Here is hoping you al have a great week. It's not Memorial Day in France but it is a "sort of" holiday as it is Pentecost Monday.

Snuggles on Sunday!

Tama-Chan: It's grey and cooler today after all that sunshine, but the sun is apparently returning later so no complaints! We're not afraid of thunderboomies so we don't even mind the odd storm!

Anyway, we have been doing a pretty good job with the snuggles this week, focusing more on #1 than usual! Let me start with me snuggling with her!

Even though I don't actually sleep with #1, I enjoy hopping onto her bed in the morning for cuddles:

And will even tolerate "that silver boy"!

I also like to share #1's desk chair at every opportunity!

And, as you know, I LOVE my TOMMY!

My sister Sei-Chan has also been cuddling with #1. Here she is, keeping her company as she watches TV:

And enjoying some "desktop" cuddles!

My Beebs has also been doing his share of cuddling with #1:

And of course with Tommy!

And here is #1 enjoying a Bibi-Genji sandwich in bed!

And the two boys enjoying a window-whiffing interlude:

And Genji hanging with his buddy Tommy:

This week, we do not have a Violette Snuggle pic, but instead, Vidock has quite outdone himself. Here he is, giving #1 a mega-smooch!

Wishing you a very snuggly Sunday!

SEIturday!

Sei-Chan: So, here I am at  the desk, looking through photos and typing my SEIturday post!

Of course, I need the help of my trusted assistant some of the time...

It has been quite a lovely few days here with lots of sunshine and blue skies and warm temperatures too! I have been spending time meditating:

And, of course, making sure that #1 enjoys my pink pawpaws...

Now, I urge you to take a good look at this photo:

You see the little critter on the wooden plaque above my head, right? Well... the night before last, somebody caught a mouse and left it for #1 in front of her bedroom door. When she woke up, none of us where around, which is unusual. When she came downstairs, she found us all sitting around one of the armchairs. You know what that means, right? We were on watch all day and finally caught the critter in the evening. But in the midst of the madness, someone flung it in the air and it landed on the low table right in front of #1. She had a napkin at hand, and immediately grabbed hold of the mouse, and the rest is history. Little mouse was released in the garden, and lives to fight another day!

Fun and Family on Friday

Violette: Pretty Neighs everyone! GUESS WHAT? #1 has been visiting me every day, and  she told me that she has decided that she is keeping me! Initially, her plan had been to have me schooled and then find me a good Forever Home because it's pretty expensive to board two horses. But I managed to totally seduce her and she says she simply can't bear the thought of parting with me. Grin!!!!

She also went to tell my Mama, Hotesse, the news!

She apparently said to tell me to be a very good girl and continue to give #1 lots and lots of kisses. I can do that!

Staying on the subject of #1's equine love stories, here is a nice portrait of Reinette. She has been "enjoying the favors" of Orgueil and will probably be going home soon. We'll miss her!

Tama-Chan: We are pretty excited here at Poupounette Central because we got hold of a couple of photos of one of my other sons whom we had had no news of in a long, long time. Remember little Fuku-Chan, brother to The Beebs?

Well, the boy is now a bona fide STUD, and here he is all grown-up:

I must say I am feeling quite proud of my progeny! I think you can really see the resemblance to The Beebs in that second pic.

I guess since we're speaking of studs and this is Vendredi after all, we should have a pic of our Vidock too, right?

Wishing our North-American friends a great Memorial Day weekend!

Thankful Thursday

The Beebs: We are so thankful that the sun has finally come out and we can enjoy the run and bask in sun puddles!

Me first:

Mama-Tama:

Find the Genji!

And Sei-Chan!

Tommy of course doesn't seem as bothered by rain as the rest of us but he also prefers to run in the grass when it's not all wet!

Even the bugs are happy!

On a less happy note, our sweet friend Miss Arty Mouse of AFSS has been missing for several days and we would like to send lots of purrs, gentle woofs and neighs for her safe return.
