Fair on Friday

Tama-Chan:
We are all still recovering from the fright that my Beebs gave us yesterday with his Houbibi escape, and #1's sciatica is still really painful, but we wanted to share with you some of her photos from the national agricultural fair.

First, though, there is proof of infidelity!

This is our cousin Simba and that was #1's bed!

Anymiaow, on to the fair. Here, for a start, are a few Percherons for you:

That is Quintus de la Vande, or "Quintus the Magnificent", a stallion belonging to the King of Morocco.

And his is his three-quarter brother (same father, mothers are sisters), Rivulus de la Vande, also belonging to the King of Morocco:

And the lovely mare Una des Près, being ridden in a carousel:

and being driven:

And a few of the other beasties:

And some of the food, starting with our mares' milk!

And last but not least, #1 saw these bells which she thinks would be perfect for Houbibi...

Those stallions really are magnificent! Sorry to hear about you being in pain and Bibi's testosterone tantrum - I'll show No#1 what abandonment feels like... a big bell might be just the thing - might drive you mad though as he clangs round the place.

  5. How marvelous it all looks. I hope that your person gets to feeling better. Acupuncture can help you know. In fact, down in Marseilles I think is a world famous acupuncturist named Tran Viet Dzung! It's probably too far but you are far closer than we are! st in France we know of... :)!

  8. Wow, that King of Morocco has one beautiful Percheron - and all the others are very handsome too.

Those bells would be great for Bibi, but we think he might need a chained cell:) No more frights, Beebs.

  9. Great pictures and thanks for showing us. Glad Beebi is safe. Sciatica is no fun so hope it eases for your mum. Look out for the post and tell mum to open with care because it has a couple of breakables inside.. Hugs GJ x

  10. Hmph. Humans - they leave town and the first thing they seem to do is hunt down a kitty, when they could very well have stayed home and had as much kittiness as they wanted! Although the rest of the trip looked pretty awesome!

  11. The percherons horses are magnificent.Truly fit for a king!! Heehee.
Yes the cow bells would be purrfect for little Hubibi -they would slow his escapes by weighing him done and you could track his progress by the chimes.Excellent!
