This and That on Thursday

Genji and I would like to lodge a complaint concerning the amount of air time we have not been getting of late. One would think we didn't even exist... sniff... So, let me start with portraits of the two of us, in case you've forgotten what we like:

Believe it or not, #1 is leaving us again. She is off to England tomorrow and will be back next Tuesday evening. You know how we feel about her leaving us, but we have unanimously agreed to grant her a special dispensation this time because (a) she is going to visit her nephew, (b) the wonderful Ms. A is coming once again to look after us and (c) she promised to do Christmas shopping for us. As for Tommy, he is doing somersaults because his Mama, Minnie, is coming to look after him, accompanied by the sweet Emily.

And Ms. A wil of course be given full instructions, especially for our late evening treat time. The girls would hate to miss their synchronised snacking!

We boys prefer competitive snacking!

or did I mean competitive smacking...?

We would like to apologise for our very intermittent commenting of late. We hope to do better, and we hope to continue posting whilst #1 is away, but no guarantees.

#1 would like to leave you with this sunset photo that she took yesterday from our the ramparts of our local medieval fortress:

  1. Oh so playful! And the sunset is just beautiful.

  2. Love the view, love the pix of the clowder, and hope the trip is safe, fun, and the return home includes a whole bunch of pictures for us to look at.

We, the 6 Mouskateers of Five Oaks Manor are back on the WWW an in particular on Buddy's Blog, so we hope you fuzzins and all the Beans can stop by and check us out.

Large One is posting this cause he faster than we.

    We gone .....

But we WILL be back ..... later.

  3. I wouldn't worry about your commenting - its far better than mine.

Paws crossed you all are happy while No 1 is away.

  4. Beautiful boys! Even though # 1 will be missed terribly, it sounds as if she has provided well for you.
And Tom, what a lucky boy! The family!
All of our love to you.

  5. The photos of you kitties are as beautiful as always. I swear that I've never seen such handsome cats.

  6. Thanks for posting the lovely sunset picture - we had quite forgotten what a sunset looks like with our run of dull and damp weather! Tell #1 to pack her winter woollies cos we think she'll need them! Great pictures of you two boys but we see Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan were more interested in treats!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  7. Yep, those pictures of you two boys were looong due. We wish #1 a safe trip over to England.

  8. we vote for competitive snacking AND smacking!!! safe trip to #1 - and we hope she finds lots of great Christmas presents....

I'm so happy to see my darling Bibi-Chan, you've been quiet for too long, and my new friend Genji-Chan too. Lovely pics of you all and of the stunning sunset. Enjoy your family, Tommy, and safe travels for #1

  10. Welll, if she brings back presents, then it's good you let her go. Bee-yootiful picture. Purrs.

  11. I do not live there but I am starting to get upset with how much #1 leaves! I mean really!

  12. Bibi-chan and Genji-chan, you two are so cute!

We hope #1 has a lovely trip to England. Enjoy!

  14. Your pictures are gorgeous. The sunset is just magnificent. Dont forget to say to mum if she is near Yorkshire to let us know.. Safe journey.. Hugs GJ xx

  15. You are very lenient, allowing your human to go out of town (and often the country!) so frequently. I have to keep a tighter reign on my human.

  16. It's so nice to see you two, Bibi and Genji! You are both looking great!! Have fun with Ms. A! It's nice that she gives you lots of treats!!

Thanks for visiting our blog! We love getting comments.
