Tama-Chan Tuesday

It's Tuesday at last! You know what that means? It means that me and Sei-Chan get our little pills and that we will soon be freed from our confinement in the back room and cat run! Yea!!!!!

Other than yesterday, the weather hasn't been great recently but I have still been spending time out in the run:

Last week, on a day the weather was OK, #1 did take this rather idyllic picture of me:

I do love all that greenery. It is so soothing!

I also have fresh news of my other two boys via #1! You remember that, other than Bibi who never left, there was also Gogo and Fuku who went to live with Uncle U. They have been looked after by their father, Boubou, which is a good thing for little boy cats. Here they are in their outdoor run yesterday:

I must say I am quite pleased with how they are turning out. #1 says they recognised her and purred and cuddled with her!

Here is a close-up of my GoGo-Chan:

I suspect that little boy will go far...

And here is my Fuku-Chan, once the runt of the litter!

In closing, #1 has a question for our dear readers. Does anyone know what this bug is? She took the photo in the field this morning as she found it so gorgeous, but she hasn't been able to identify it in her bug book yet.

  1. Your boys are growing up to be so handsome! You must be so proud...

P.S. I wish I was that branch that you're smooching in the first photo.

  2. A blue one. Hahahahaha!

The boys are growing beautifully. What a handsome pair.

  3. I just think that bug looks tasty :)

  4. Your offspring is all magnificent. You should be very proud. They are all growing up to be a credit to you.

I don't know what that bug is, but Happy would like to eat him.

    wags, Lola

  5. What great pictures of your boys.

The bug is a Adscita statices moth. If you google there is lots of information on them. Apparently they are rarely seen, so a lucky spot.

  6. Tama-Chan, those are gorgeous pics pf you with the buttercups!!

That bug is very pretty but we have no idea what it is. Let us know when you find out!

  7. Tama, your boys are lookin GOOD, and so are you.

As for the bug, let me eat it for you. It seems the Paw Relations identified it for you.

  8. Tama-Chan your boys do you credit they are very handsome and Fuku-Chan is looking very grown up. We have no idea what that bug is (Mum says thank goodness!)

  9. You are such a beautiful clan! We love all your photos!!
We have never seen that bug before. It's blue and pretty!
It's the first day of winter here in Australia so that must mean it's the first day of Summer for you! yay!!!

  10. Your little friends are already grown up! We are happee to hear you guys will be free to roam and no longer in jail. However, your jail looks purrty nice. Have a fun day

  12. Dear #1,

  15. oh my goodness, I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw Gogo-chan... what a handsome boy!

  16. Such cuties!

No clue about the bug, my mom is terrified of bugs, especially spiders.

  17. Tama-Chan your boys are growing up very nicely!

That bug reminds us of what they call a lacewing but the coloring is not the same.

  18. What a gorgeous family!! You look so happy in your outside world!! So nice to see some of the estranged kids...nice to know that they are well, happy and looking good! As for the insect, I don't know, but Mom said she will look through a couple of books she has...maybe she'll find it somewhere...it looks very small...how big would you say it was?....1cm? or less? or more? Purrs, Lautrec

  19. Tama-Chan,
Soon you'll be busted out of solitary and you can rule the roost again! Your boys are growing up to be Very Handsome.

We say the bug is a "yummicus ceruleana" spp. "crunchilius".

  20. What great pics! Sorry we can't help on the insect info..nevertheless it's a beaut!

  21. Gogo and Fuku are so handsome. But that whole litter were just so beautiful. Sorry we don't know the name of the bug, but we bet it would taste yummy.
