Sei-Chan For Snickers

Sei-Chan: Today is "Seiturday" and I normally post all about my week. I will get to that later, but I wanted to start with this:

We are taking part in the Worldwide Moment for Snickers which is being organised for SNICKERS today by Jake and Fergi. May all of our good thoughts help her and her family get through this difficult time.

I have had a good week at this end, spending a lot of time with that little brother of mine:

We like to sit at the window together and enjoy the wildlife:

It's exhausting work and I need my beauty sleep afterwards!

We would also like to mention that we were amused by the fact that yesterday, on Friday 13th, we got exactly 13 comments to our post!

And #1 would like me to tell you that yesterday's walk in the woods did indeed yield some great mushrooms!

I supervised, of course!

  7. Love those mushrooms! I've just finished reading A Pig in Provence by Georgeanne Brennan, bought in Borders in Boston this summer and I loved her descriptions of mushroom picking and her recipes.

You are so lucky to have the opportunity to go mushroom picking - can Tommy sniff out truffles??!

Love the photos today and we'll be thinking of Snickers at 11pm here tonight!

    take care

  12. The mushers look great. It's the other type of human's birthday on Sunday and mom will get him a turboculture of Shiitake mushers. Hahahaha! We are so curious to see his face (and mom's) when the big block with mycel arrives! Hopefully they will harvest some.
Sei-Chan, we're ashamed we have a hard time telling you two apart. Do you have more white around the mouth?
