She's home!

Tom: I am happy to report that #1 returned safely from England yesterday afternoon. She was a bit taken aback by my lack of greeting but, you see, I was right in the middle of a mad Frisbee game with Mr.S and NOTHING can take my attention away from such occupations. So, #1 had to wait quite a while for a Tommy cuddle. The girls were rather more immediate in their enthusiasm. Phew!

Anyway, #1 did us proud. Look at the stash she brought home:

It doesn't look like any of us will go hungry anytime soon!

The girls were of course busy supervising the rest of her purchases which have just been laid out on a spare bed for now:

That is, when they weren't practicing their usual high-wire act...

Our wonderful Aussie friends left this morning for a looooooooooooong house-sit in Germany, so we thought we might perhaps introduce them to our friends Siena and Chilli!

  7. Welcome back!
It's unbelievable just how much #1 hauled back for you. Great stuff! BTW, did you like the foods that were in our little package? We think it's equally good food as the Sheba (and it should be less expensive). Oh, and try Cosma Thai! We discovered that lately and love it.
You should definitely introduce your Aussie friends. Whenever they'd like to come to Cologne we'd love to guide them around.

  18. what a wonderful haul of loot! I can see #1 saying to Customs "no, just two cats and one dog, not hundreds..." Glad that Tommy eventually stopped playing Frisbee long enough to welcome #1 home! The girls are quite the high wire artists indeed.
